This Adjustable J-Rack for transporting kayaks on your vehicle’s roof rack or trailer rack fits nearly any bar shape and dimension. Each of the J shaped carriers (2 in a set) uses 4 stainless bolts, locking washers, and large threaded knobs in conjunction with 2 vinyl coated metal cross-braces. This is a superior design than alternatives from Malone. 

Furthermore, we here at NES, chose this system over all other J styles from other brands because it has the most height and width for the most support of larger kayaks. And because you can lean the uprights down to a shallow angle, you can minimize how much wind your kayak catches while still achieving the right balance of space saving when trying to accommodate another kayak or equipment along the opposite side.

An Expansion Kit is available to create a second resting spot (a lower “J”) on the backside of this J system, although we don’t recommend it for larger fishing kayaks due to the tighter space tolerances.
