Now, as Seacoast New England's premier full service paddling shop, Northern Explorer Supply provides repair and installation services for nearly any kayak, canoe, or paddleboard make, model and material.

Whether your paddle craft is in need of new rudder components, bulkhead seals, deck bungees and line, hatch covers, foot braces, seats and seat components, or has hull deformation, delamination, cracks or other minor to moderate issue, NES can help. 

We also install a wide range of paddlesports accessories like rudders, comfort enhancing products, kayak fishing accessories, and electric motors.

NES is experienced in repairing or updating kayaks and canoes of all makes and most materials including linear polyethylene, crosslinked polyethylene, Royalex, fiberglass, PVC, and Kevlar. That said, conducting fine woodworking, fixing major structural damage, and performing detailed finish work for composite decks and hulls (e.g., gel coat) is not our forte.

2. We will then promptly reply to you and potentially request photos.
3. We promptly document everything we need to know, research any parts and materials required, and prepare a reasonable installation or repair quote for you based on what we learn remotely. In some cases, it is best that we see your paddle craft in person to take measurements and make other calculations--you can drop off your kayak, canoe, or paddleboard at our store or we can travel to the location they are kept. We can even transport your equipment from and back to your home/storage location if easier for a small fee.
