Product Holds
Our goal is to be exceptionally accommodating to you in answering your questions and fulfilling your requests. For us to be able to operate this way in the shared interests of all our customers, we have to abide by and enforce inventory holds and availability related policies.
Although we are more than happy to hold products through the online reservation method via "Cash" On Delivery (COD; see payment method details in Checkout) for up to 48 hours without payment (future Cash or Credit Card payment expected), we will need to cancel such orders after that point in time to ensure the allocated inventory can be made available again to other shoppers, unless other arrangements have been made with a NES staff member.
For customers who wish to hold/reserve items until pick-up for up to 14 calendar days, we ask that they call the shop at 207-337-1356 or arrange a visit to provide a 50% refundable deposit over the phone or in person.
For customers who wish to hold/reserve items until pick-up for up to 30 calendars, we require 100% payment (in-full) online, over the phone, or in-person. If after 30 days the item(s) are not picked-up, NES may cancel the order and issue refund minus a 10% restocking fee. Remember, for all returned or cancelled purchases of oversized items like Kayaks, Paddleboards, Bikes, and Tree Tents, a 10% restocking fee will apply if the return or cancellation occurs after 14 days and on/before 30 days. Returns after 30 days are not accepted.
