The Ranger is a quick and playful light-touring kayak designed for a wide range of calm to moderately challenging water conditions. Stable and welcoming for newer paddlers, it also delivers the efficiency and responsiveness more experienced paddlers appreciate.

The hull begins with a moderately recurved bow for ample freeboard in wavy waters that transitions to a semi-v hull for a mix of good tracking without being stubborn while executing turns.

The soft high sided chines forward sharpens along the centerline, providing excellent primary and secondary stability, fast acceleration, and easy edging for confident, controlled turns in frothy or glass waters alike.

A roomy cockpit allows for comfortable entry and exit, making the Ranger ideal for relaxed day paddles, while the longer waterline adds efficiency when covering distance or paddling in more open water. 

Fully outfitted for adventure, the Ranger features perimeter deck lines, dual bulkheads (molded for a precise fit), deck bungees, retractable carry handles, a convenient 6” forward day hatch, GearTrac for accessories mounting, retractable skeg, and optional rudder.

The Ranger’s seat mounted to a tracked ABS base for superior strength and paddler weight distribution, preventing the hull from being flexed out of its intended shape. It is designed to cradle the hips and thighs for comfort and control without being overly snug. The seat back can be raised for support to the paddler’s middle back or changed out for a low profile back band more common with expert “rock gardeners”.
