ESQUIF ECHO 2.0 SOLO CANOE The Esquif Echo 2.0 T-Formex solo canoe is new for 2026. It has the same shallow arch design that made the original Echo a favorite, now with added freeboard for a drier ride and increased payload capacity.
The jump to standard T-Formex construction is the other significant upgrade. Where the original Echo Lite was optimized for weight savings, the Echo 2.0 is built for paddlers who want to push further -- longer trips, more ambitious whitewater up to Class II, and the added confidence that comes from a hull with a bit more toughness in reserve. At 45 lbs it remains an impressively light solo canoe for what it offers. The low rocker and shallow arch hull deliver the tracking and secondary stability that make this canoe feel composed and efficient across a full day on the water.
NOTE: this canoe includes installed Kevlar skid plates on bow and stern ($200 value).
